Here are the steps I took to place the order:
    1. go here: https://manage.keytomoodle.com/cart....onfproduct&i=0
and type in your moodle site URL ( for example acme.moodlehub.com ) and hit the "update cart" button. It will be $245 US/year. I was a little nervous about this part but Jai obviously made it work.

    2. the next screen goes to checkout and on that screen you can choose paypal or 2checkout or moneybookers or Bank Transfer. Pick whichever is easiest for you. I chose paypal as I already had an account.

If you've never used paypal, it's pretty easy to set up an account (and it's available in many languages). https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/ I think you just need a credit card (or a checking account?) but paypal occasionally makes changes to their sign up process so you may have a slightly different experience.

...actually, I think you can pay with paypal WITHOUT a paypal account -- you go through as if you're going to pay with paypal but use your credit card instead (I have never done this but I've heard it's pretty easy). https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/we...ccount-outside

...if paypal (or 2checkout/moneybookers) isn't an option, then you might consider the bank transfer (but I've never done that so I'm not one to offer much advice on that).

We did not receive any notice that our site
    Code:
    http://www.questforculturemb.moodlehub.com
would be taken offline. We have classes depending on the site, and no way to access the data without paying and then waiting for the migration to happen.

Making a switch like this mid-school year is an awful idea. As others have mentioned, the summer break would have been a much less disruptive time to make a move.

I've paid for the move to keytomoodle, how long should the process take? I'd also like to create a database dump for safe keeping, but cannot access the control panel. Please either enable my control panel account, or send a full backup and database dump to jschmid@meadowbrook-ma.org.

I want to assure you all that your backups are safe and secure. We are working to send all backups to you.

At present we are getting too many support tickets, we are already working overtime to handle all support calls.

For those who want to migrate to paid services use following link.

    https://manage.keytomoodle.com/cart.php?a=add&pid=20

NOTE: You don't have to pay for backups, we will send backup files to everyone.

    Hi Jai,
I downloaded the backup of my site, but I don't know how I restore it . What is the tar.gz file?.
Please, it's necessary a brief explanation about the information in this file and how restore it.
    Thank you.

Not informed of change from KTS

    Mr. Gupta:
I also was not informed of any change from KTS, and consequently have lost my information/site, which I used during a 2-week thermodynamics unit in my chemistry class. The former address at moodlehub was:

    sta.moodlehub.com

I can no longer find backups to download, as I just learned of this migration from KTS. I'll be more than disappointed if I've lost my entire on-line unit and have to re-create it at another hosting service.

I am able to pay for migration of my data and site to the new host, KTM...however, I am unable to log in to KTM. Must I register to that site first?

Please help, I start the thermodynamics unit in 3 weeks and would like to have everything ready as soon as possible.

    thank you,
